Aubree's last dance performance

Aubree had her final dance performance on Sunday evening. Now she's done with dance until the summer session starts up. She did a great job and had lots of fun!

Aubree got her ears pierced!

This was her "trial run". She decided last Friday that she wanted to have her ears pierced, so we told her we'd do it this Friday. Both sets of Grandparents came to watch. She got up on the chair, held the teddy bear, and decided against it. Then, on the way home, she started crying because she wanted to go back. We told her if she still wanted to in the morning, we'd go back Saturday afternoon...

So, here she is Saturday afternoon! She was a little nervous, but definitely wanted to do it.

Here are a few pictures from the last week. My brother, Jared, had to go out of town for a conference, so Jamie and Allison headed to ND for a week to visit both sets of grandparents and for a baby shower in Max.

Fun with Photo Booth!

My computer has a program on it called Photo Booth with various effects to use to take pictures. Aubree had seen it before and loves it, but we weren't sure how Brody would react. He loved it! He giggled like crazy! Here are a few shots from our Photo Booth Photo Session!

I always say Aubree has a little nose, but this is crazy!

Aubree the cyclops - one of her favorite books is called "I Love You Stinky Face" (if you haven't read it, you should!) and they talk about a cyclops in it. The other day the H&R Block commercial with a cyclops on it came on and she was so excited that she saw a cyclops on TV. It took us a minute to figure out how she knew what a cyclops was, but then we remembered it's in that book! So, she had to take a cyclops picture!

Fun with cousins!

Justin, Lana, Lydia and John came for the weekend. The kids had a lot of fun! The kids played outside for a VERY short time on Saturday morning. It was cold, but they wanted to try out the tunnel!

The hill wasn't steep enough to slide down on, so Lydia pushed Aubree and John around on their sleds!

Brody loves to dance!

Brody had his post-hospital check-up on Friday. He had gained back most of the weight he lost, so that was good! Everything looked great. We figured we'd get a report like that because here is how he was acting on Thursday night...he loves to dance!

This past week was so much better than the week before, but we were all exhausted from being sick, no sleep, days in the hospital, etc. so I am just posting new pictures tonight...

While Brody was in the hospital, Aubree stayed at Grandpa Ken and Grandma Debbie's. Here is how we found her when we picked her up Sunday afternoon to go home...in the tunnel Grandpa made for her. She loved it!

Aubree's newest favorite thing to do - wash the dishes! Yea!!
